Liu Yongjie
Chairman
Liu Yongjie was appointed Chairman of CNOOC International in April 2022.
Mr. Liu holds a Senior Engineer certification and Bachelor degree in Offshore Production and Drilling. He has over a decade of experience in numerous roles at CNOOC Nanhai East Company before he was appointed as General Manager of Panyu Operation Company and General Manager of Liuhua Oil Field. Then he has held various leadership roles at Shenzen Branch, CNOOC Ltd including General Manager, Development and Production Department. He was Chief of Staff of Pan American Energy Group and Chairman of BC Energy before he took a role in CNOOC International. Prior to becoming Chairman of CNOOC International, Liu Yongjie served as President of CNOOC International.
Tian Lixin
President
Tian Lixin was appointed President of CNOOC International in April 2022.
Mr. Tian holds a Bachelor of Geophysics from Peking University, Master of Applied Geophysics and a Doctor of Geological resources and geological engineering from China University of Petroleum. Prior to being appointed to this leadership role, Tian Lixin was Deputy General Manager and Chief Geologist of Shenzhen Branch of CNOOC Limited. Joining CNOOC in 1995, Tian Lixin has held various leadership roles at Tianjin Branch, CNOOC Ltd. including Director of Bohai Petroleum Research Institute, Director of Bohai Oil Field Exploration and Development Research Institute. Prior to becoming President of CNOOC International, Tian Lixin served as Executive Vice President of CNOOC International.
Wang Yufan
Chief Financial Officer
Wang Yufan was appointed Chief Financial Officer of CNOOC International in March 2018.
In this role, Wang Yufan provides oversight to CNOOC International’s financial management, including accounting, audit, tax, planning, treasury and insurance.Prior to being appointed to this leadership role, Wang Yufan was Deputy General Manager, Audit Department, CNOOC and CNOOC Ltd. Joining CNOOC in 2002, Wang Yufan has more than 15 years of experience in the CNOOC Audit & Supervision Department and the Financial Management Department.Wang Yufan holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Accounting.
