3D seismic data processing plays an important role in the development optimization of the Missan Oil Field. It has also uncovered treasures from the past. During a survey a team came across an ancient underground architectural site. CNOOC International contacted the local heritage department and hired five experts to study the relics. They uncovered a total of 89 cultural site coordinates in 27 areas, and CNOOC International played a key role in protecting these cultural relics.
