CNOOC attends inaugural Guyana petroleum conference

The first-ever Guyana International Petroleum Business Summit and Exhibition (GIPEX) was held in Georgetown, Guyana in early February. Hosted by the Guyana Ministry of Natural Resources, CNOOC participated at the conference through our booth within the main exhibition tent, and as part of the conference agenda, with Keith Henderson, VP, International Developments, presenting.

 

The conference was attended by industry delegates, government representatives from Guyana, Canada and other countries, local stakeholders and the general public. The main themes of the presentations were collaboration and local content, sustainable development, regulatory structure and properly managing the influx of capital from resource developments.

 

The CNOOC booth featured information on our global assets, and sought to further demonstrate the capabilities of CNOOC subsidiaries COOEC (China Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd.), COSL (China Oilfield Services Ltd.) and CenerTech (CNOOC Engineering and Technical Services Co.).
